Row & Column Headings
Is there a way to have words for column headings instead of A, B, C, etc.?
Is there a way to start Row 1 on the third row? |

No. The usual way would be simply to use say, col A for row headers and row1
for col headers. Eg you could enter text col labels in B1 across, and have the row numbers running in A2 down. -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- " wrote: Is there a way to have words for column headings instead of A, B, C, etc.? hi,
you can turn off excel row and columns headers by going toolsoptionsviewuncheck row and column headers. you can then put your own column headers in the first row and row headers in the first column then place the curser in second column and second row and go Windowfreeze panes. but in doing so, you would loose many built in excel function such as select sheet, select row, select column, autofit row/column and others.
