Solver not following parameters
 

Hi

Solver in Excel 2003 is not solving correctly on my computer. When I set an
array of cells to change with the same parameters as on other computers my
values are different (sometimes specifically outside the parameters such as
all zero values). The data is not linked and the formulae are all the same.
What's more, if I try to use a spreadsheet created on my computer on another,
solver will produce the same invalid results on that computer unless I
crerate a new spreadsheet from scratch.
I have tried re-installing office but i get the message "This patch package
could not be opened. Verify...."
Virus and spyware protection is running. Have I got a corupt file?

Please help.
