Pivot tables and work sheets

I am working with a company that uses piviot sheets. I have to make
corrections on the work sheets, but when I double click the colum, it will
not let me go to the work sheet. I have made sure the read only is unchecked
and I have changed the name and it will let me go to the work sheet once,
then locks up. I don't have a problem with this at work, but on my home
computer when I bring the work home. Can anyone help me.

What versions of Excel do you have at home and at work?

Hi

I'm not sure what you mean by double clicking on a column.
If you double click on a cell, a new sheet will open showing all the
transactions that make up this value. If the cell you click happens to
be the grand Total, then it will show all rows.

However, this is not the source data for the PT, and any alterations
that you make on this new sheet will not be reflected in the PT.

You need to click on the tab containing the source data, make any
amendments to the data there, then return to the PT and click Refresh to
see those amendments incorporated into the PT report.
