To get the interval in minutes between 2 properly formatted dates/times use:-
=((B1-A1)*24)*60 where B1 is the later time. XL times are stored as fractional days (i.e., 1 = 24 hours = 24*60
minutes), so one way: =(B1-A1)*1440 Format as General, or another number format.
