Data Validation has stopped working on one paricular sheet only
 

Please can someone help. Have been working on quite a complex spreadsheet
and have various sets of drop-down Data Validation cells. These have been
working fine, the other day I saved it then today I went to open it up to do
further edits, the Data Validation cells are now not working, the commands
are still in place but the drop-down arrow has now gone, all other sheets in
the workbook are okay, except this one sheet, if I try and create new Data
Validation commands on this particular worksheet, again, the drop-down arrow
does not display although the command still works, there is no protection
assigned and the setting of this worksheet is the same as all the others in
the workbook, a mystery which I hope someone can help with.

Recollect a posting by Bob Phillips to try "Open and Repair" in XL2003. Click
File Open, navigate to folder, select the file, then click the arrow
dropdown on the right of the "Open" button choose "Open and Repair". Good
luck !

on this file, thank you... your solution has worked a treat and the
validation commands have now been restored.
