Is there a way to change the date on the header on one workbook and it
automatically changes the date of a header on multiple workbooks within a folder? I have a folder with various workbooks and I want to be able to change the date on the header for one workbook and it automatically changes the date of the header on the other workbooks in the folder (i.e. - I change the header date from January 2006 to January 2007 in one workbook; I want all the others to change to January 2007 automatically). Thanks in advance! Rhonda Randolph Medical University of South Carolina |

You can link all the headers to one workbook by opening all of them, then in
each except one use a link, after that has been done you only need to change the value in this particular workbook -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom "Rhonda" wrote in message ... Thank you for your prompt response, can you write down the process for me on
how to do this specifically? What do you mean by link? I thank you in advance and apologize for any inconvenience. With all workbooks open, select the header on the book you want to use as
source and copy it, then go to the other workbooks where you want the change to be done and do editPaste special and select the paste link button -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom "Rhonda" wrote in message ...
