I need to get sum of two maximum figures from five and four columns. Please
give me the formula in Excel Sheet.

Try this

=SUM(LARGE(A1:A60,ROW(INDIRECT("1:2"))))+SUM(LARGE (B1:B60,ROW(INDIRECT("1:2"))))

This will do columns A and B, add more columns as necessary.

Perhaps more efficient (or at least, shorter):

=SUM(LARGE(A1:A60,{1,2}),LARGE(B1:B60,{1,2}))

You already have two replies, but I read your request differently -
you want to add the maximum from 5 columns (assume A:E) and the
maximum from four other columns (assume G:J). If so, try this:

=MAX(A1:E1000)+MAX(G1:J1000)

Adjust the ranges to suit.
