template of a rolling forecast for production?
We need a rolling forecast schedule template at work.
We have an 8-week cycle, in which forecasted quantities of items are "frozen" or committed. I need something that will populate or roll in each new week. Help! |

I think we will need a little more information then that.

8 week commitment to buy. First four weeks commit to buy and ship. Second 4
weeks customer commits to buy but can defer up to 25% of its shipments up to 60 days. We need a spreadsheet that shows the 8 weeks and somehow rolls the calendar weeks forward, along with their part quantities (about 20 parts). Qtys must stay fixed as week 5 rolls in and becomes Wk 4. Wk 9 can be a best estimate of qtys to be purchased, but as Wk 9 rolls forward and becomes Wk 8, qty is fixed in sales but ship qty can vary up to 25% of what it was in Wk 8. Make sense?
