Excel sheet: selection of cell or rows not visible.

Hi.

I am facing actually two problems, but 1 is more urgent.

In my excel worksheet, when I select a row, column or even a cell, I can not
see that selection. I checked all the possibilities in "option" but am unable
to find a solution. Will anybody help me out?

Thanks

Is it a protected sheet? What happens if you double-click in a cell?

How do you select the row, column or cell if you can't see it?

Do they hide after you select?

Or you just don't have a selection border around the selected area?

What version of Excel?

I have read that the selection shading/outline is very weak in 2007.

Don't use 2007 so can't speak to that.
