Default Functions and Formulas

Hello,

I have what I hope is a simple questions. I have a spreadsheet that has
formulas and calculations in certain cells which I have locked and hidden so
no one can tamper with them. However, when I try to copy the spreadsheet into
a new workbook, I lose all the formulas and calculations. Is there a way to
do this without losing everything or do I have to keep replacing that
information each time?

Thanks!!

Hello,

Thank you for your quick response.

I removed the checkmarks for both Hidden and Locked, copied the spreadsheet
and pasted it in a new workbook but again, the forumlas didn't follow.

Is there another way?

Thanks!!

If you are running two separate instances of Excel with a workbook open in each,
copying from one to the other copies values only.

Close one instance of Excel and open both books in the other.

Your copying will then work proerly.
