Defining character limits
I am trying limit the number of characters allowed in a specific range. I
have several columns, each with a different limit. |
Defining character limits
Hilight the range... then go to
Date ---- Validation Then change the drop down to "Text Length" Then change the new drop down to Maximum Then type in the maximum number of characters you want to allow. You can then change the error messages that either warn or completely stop people from entering data that is too long. Thank you. I knew I had done this before but I couldn't remember how.
