Pivot table cell limit
 

Hi, can anyone help. My source worksheet has cells containing lots of text.
When I create a pivot table (in the same file), the data from the source
worksheet is truncated. Is there a cell limit on pivot table cells. If so
can I increase the capacity so I can show all the text in the pivoted table?

Yes there is a limit (256 characters I believe)

Hi Peo

The limit has been increased from 255 in versions up to XL2003, to 32K
for XL2007.
