Pivot tables and grouping words that are both upper and lower case
I am having a problem with my pivot table. I am trying to count a series of
words that reoccur in both the upper and lower case. However, instead of grouping them together as one total, it splits them into two groups. For example: Here 58 here 3 They 45 they 23 I would like the table to recognize that a word in both the upper and lower case are the same word. Is there a way? |

Abdullah,
Excel groups the same name automatically regardless of caps. Perhaps you've put the number fields not in the data area but in the row area. Try removing them and if it is now grouped correctly. DQ |
