Pulling Data from One Excel File into Another
 

Is there a way that I can specify in a cell in Excel file "A" that I want to
pull a number (which has been calculated using a forumla) from Excel file "B"
so that whenever the formula updates the number in file "B" it automatically
updates the cell in file "A"?

Chris,

Yes you can but both files must be open for this to work.

In file "A" click in the cell the you want to be updated and type = next
click on the cell in file "B" where the data is and hit enter.
