Pivot Table: new column with a calculation

I am trying to create a new column in my pivot table that calculates the
relationship (a ratio) between two previous columns. Those two columns are
calculations from the base data.

When I try to insert a calculated field or item in the pivot table, my only
options are to create a calculation using the column names in the data
worksheet.

help?

Pivot Table: new column with a calculation

If you created calculated fields or calculated items, those should be
available to you when you try to create another calculated field or item.
In the Insert Calculated Fields dialog box, calculated fields would
appear in the list of fields
In the Insert Calculated Items dialog box, calculated items would appear
in the list of items when you select the appropriate field.
