find out which sheets refer to a cel
Hi,
I have a few worksheets that I called lookups1, lookups2, lookups3... which contains values that many other sheets refer to as part of an index, vlookup... formula. How do I find out which sheets refer to this lookups1 sheet. I tried the trace dependants and although it puts a symbole refering to somethin it doesn't tell me the sheet names that refer to it? What I want to know is which sheets use the lookups to pull values. Thanks, |

Double-click on the line that points to the symbol that appears when you
choose trace dependants. That will show you all the cells that look to the cell in question. It includes sheet names too. It only works for the cell in question though. You would have to do the same thing for each individual cell that you want to check. Hope that helps.
