counting blank cell in pivot table
 

hi , i have a list of data where there are blank cell. i need to do a count
for the pivot table but the pivot is unable to count hw many blank data i
have. what can i do to get teh pivot to coutn my blank data. i do not want
to replace blank with any value. this is what the current pivot table is
showing.



Balance Jan Data Total
3 Count of Balance Jan 1
5 Count of Balance Jan 2
6 Count of Balance Jan 3
11 Count of Balance Jan 2
17 Count of Balance Jan 1
18 Count of Balance Jan 1
(blank) Count of Balance Jan
Total Count of Balance Jan 10

If you change the data field to Count Of Date rather than Count Of Balance
you will get the answer you are looking for.
