I cannot edit work sheets on excel but i can view them.
 

this morning i tried to work on my worksheets using excel but for some reason
i could not edit any of the sheets that i had saved in the past. i have no
problem viewing them. what can i do to solve this problem. thank you.

I would try going to Tools - Protection - Unprotect Sheet/Unprotect
Worbook. My guess is that the sheet is protected and by selecting
"Unprotect Sheet" or "Unprotect Workbook" you should be able to edit
it. If it's password protected then try to figure who set the
password and ask if you can have access.

If that doesn't work try saving the file as a different name and then
open that new file.

do you have excel viewer on your computewr as well as excel?

thank you for helping out. you asked if i had viewer excel and i do. as for
excel i dont think i do anymore since i cannot find a way edit my worksheets.
ive had my computer for two years and this is the first time i run into a
problem like this. so if you think i should download a program please advice
me. thank you.

thank you for replying, the only message that the computer sends is " could
not find Microsft excel to open file" what program should i download.
