Removing Asterisks from the contents of a cell
Any ideas on how I can remove asterisks from the contents of a cell. Knowing
the Asterisk is a wild card and does not behave like other characters when using "Find & Replace" |
Use a tilde (the key to the left of the 1 on most keyboards) in front of the
asterisk, like so: ~* That tips off Excel that you really want to deal with the asterisk as a character and not a wild card. Good luck.
