Default If a cell = TRUE how do I get the cell to do a sum function

Im trying to do a conditional:
This is the end result Im looking for.

If cell (F1) has a text match for = CA
Then I want cell (L1) to =SUM(I1*.0875)

I have tried IF and ISTEXT
But I need it perform another formula instead of a true false or text response
