In Excel 2007, I want to modify the data range for an existing pivot table.
I don't know how to do that. When I click inside the existing pivot table to make it active, the pivot table icon in the ribbon is grayed out and I can't select it. I can't find the appropriate menu item when I right-click. |

Click on options and in the Data group you will find a 'change data source button', one of the options here will help you depending on whether it's data from Excel or an external source -- HTH Nick Hodge Microsoft MVP - Excel Southampton, England DTHIS web: www.nickhodge.co.uk blog: www.nickhodge.co.uk/blog/ FREE UK OFFICE USER GROUP MEETING, MS READING, 27th APRIL 2007 www.officeusergroup.co.uk "Ken W" wrote in message ...
