Taken from Excel's Help after typing INTRATE in the search box:
INTRATE Returns the interest rate for a fully invested security. If this function is not available, and returns the #NAME? error, install and load the Analysis ToolPak add-in. How? 1.. On the Tools menu, click Add-Ins. 2.. In the Add-Ins available list, select the Analysis ToolPak box, and then click OK. 3.. If necessary, follow the instructions in the setup program. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "brunnsu" wrote in message ... Have you tried help? If you look up INTRATE in help you will see that it is
part of the ATP add-in. Now look up ATP in help and it tells you how to install it. It comes with the Excel/Office cd Regards, Peo Sjoblom "brunnsu" wrote in message ... I had similar problem as brunnsu and tried the solutions offered here. Looks
like my Add-ins are not in the proper folder. I tried searching for the .xla files but nothing found related to the Analysis ToolPak I needed. Any help would be appreicated. achangcw "Ron Rosenfeld" wrote: On Fri, 30 Mar 2007 12:24:02 -0700, brunnsu wrote: I do not seem to have all functions with the Excel2003. I followed the instruction but then got the following message:
Error 1311. File source not found: C:\program files\microsoft\office\office11\library\SKU111.CAB . Verify that the file exist and that you can access it. I looked under that folder and the SKU111.CAB is not there. I searched my entire hard drive for files with extension CAB and there is no. What else can I do? achangcw "Bernard Liengme" wrote: Have a look at this: http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/ex...277241033.aspx best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "achangcw" wrote in message ... The default location on a regular installation is in the folder
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Library\Analysis There will be 4 files in the Analysis folder. ANALYS32.XLL FUNCRES.XLA ATPVBAEN.XLA PROCDB.XLA If not found there, suggest you try the control panel add/removechange and go in and remove the ATP installation then re-install. Assuming you have the installation CD, of course. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 9 Jan 2008 13:49:09 -0800, achangcw wrote: I had similar problem as brunnsu and tried the solutions offered here. Thanks Gord. There is no Analysis Folder under the Library folder. Under
the Library Folder, there is only one Excel Add-in file for Internet Assistant VBA. I do have the program CD. In Excel, under Tools, Add-ins, Analysis Tool Pak is one of the available choices. But the currently installed programs under Control Panel; Add/Remove Program, there is no APT installation. If the ATP is offered as one of the Add-ins in ToolsAdd-ins, I would surmise it
has been installed with the typical installation of Office but somehow lost its way<g Have you done a file search for Funcres.xla and any of the other files I posted? Before going to next steps open Excel and try HelpDetect and Repair. If no joy go to next...................... Go to Control Panel and add/remove program. Scroll down to MS Office(your edition)2003 and Change or Remove. Select ChangeAdd or Remove FeaturesChoose Advanced Customization of ApplicationsMicrosoft Excel. Expand and select Add-ins and ATP........is it installed to "run from my computer"? If not, install it. Have your CD ready. Gord On Wed, 9 Jan 2008 17:27:03 -0800, achangcw wrote: Thanks Gord.
