Creating and adding custom formulas

If I have a formula I use a lot, is there somewhere to enter or save it so
that I can pull it up when creating a new worksheet I might like to use it
in? (FYI: It is not a situation where a template would be appropriate.)
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks a million! This is one case where I can say, "I'll try this at home."
