Entering IF formula
 

I am very new to Excel and need to enter a formula for work asap.

What is the formula to enter: if cell A1 is blank then enter blank and if
not enter the date in A1 plus 180 days?

Since dates are simply days then all you need is

=IF(a1="","",a1+180)
