How to replace spreadsheet cells with data from another sheet?

I have a master worksheet with 4,000+ rows containing part numbers and
current prices.

I receive a weekly worksheet with 250+ rows of part numbers and new prices.

How can I automate the update of the master sheet with the new prices from
the weekly sheet?

I tried the VLOOKUP function in the master worksheet. If it cant find a
matching part number with new price in the weekly sheet, then it fills in the
current price cell with the wrong price or N/A instead of just skipping
that row.

Thanks in advance,

Sailor JP

I would use a match and if to determine if the data exists before making the
changes. replace "Found 41" with you lookup function and replace didn't find
41 with nothing. Match returns NA if the item is not found.

=IF(ISNA(MATCH(41,H10:H20,0)),"Didn't find 41","Found 41")
