how can you highlight or color your total line in a Pivot table R
 
everybody here at work highlights/colours their totals on pivot reports.

and once youd do the second total line it automatically cours all of the
total lines, except on my computer, or pivot tables. what am I doing wrong
or is their a special options field that has to be set. I can't find
anything.

To format cells, enable selection should be turned on.
To enable selection --
From the Pivot toolbar, choose PivotTableSelect
If it's not already activated, click on Enable Selection

To format a section of a pivot table, e.g. subtotals --
Move the pointer to the left of a subtotal heading in the pivot table.
When the black arrow appears, click to select the subtotal rows
Format the selected subtotals
