Data-Validation-List-Width of list must be colomn width, is this possible

Hello,

Is there a way that when you click in the cell, and when the list shows,
that you can make the width of the unfolded list wider than the column ?

The properties of all the cells in the column are 'wrapped' so the entire
text is visible.
But the text in the list is than the width of the column, so not
everything is visible in the list (after you make the selection in the list,
the text in the cell is wrapped).
