Date Functions for Excel published to HTML

I publish my Excel as HTML or Web pages but am losing the DATE functionality
in the browser (i.e. as per Tools Add-Ins Analysis and Analysis VBA).
How do I activate the Date function in the Web Browser for Excel files
published to Web?
NB this only happens when I select the Interactivity option.
