How to write for copying a cell value to another cell
 

This might be a beginner's question, but help me.
I want to instruct a cell to copy the value in a certain cell to another
specified cell.
For example, Cell A1's task is
1. To see if cell B1 has a numeric value
2. If B1's value is greater than a specific number
3. copy the value to C1
4. If B1's value is less than the specified number
5. do nothing
What shall I write in A1?

Excel doesn't allow you to copy to a cell. A cell doesn't have any tasks
associate with them. that value that goes into a cell is based solely on a
fomula generated in the cell that cell

C1 would have a formula would have an If function looking at B1's value.

In cell C1 - If B1 is greater than 3 put 1 in C1. Otherwise put 0 in C1.
=if(B1 3,1,0)
