Can you do a conditional format in a pivot table? For instance, for each
value in the table over 1000 shade that cell red and for each over 5000,

You can add conditional formatting in a pivot table in Excel 2007.
For earlier versions, you can add conditional formatting to the cells,
but it won't move if you change the pivot table layout.
