I have a worksheet Ive done and it says that the cells are protected and it's
prompting me for a password. I've never protected it, and its on the computer
that I made the worksheet on.

I do believe you may have inadvertantly protected and passworded the sheet.

Go to ToolsProtection.

Is "Unprotect Sheet" available?

If so, the sheet is protected.

Excel's internal security is quite weak and passwords can be broken easily.

See JE McGimpsey's site for info on regaining access to the sheet.
