Add $ to the column

I can manualy do it. I see what your saying on the $ but how do I have a
constant cell and have Excel advance the rest of the formula by 1 for each new row. Here is what ai am looking at. =3%*((B5*B7)+(C5*C7)+(D5+D7)+E5+D7)) Here is what I want the next one to look like =3%*((B5*B8)+(B5*C8)+(B5*D8)+B5*E8)) Is there a way to drag the formula and have it advance like this? Your two formulas are decidedly different
=3%*((B5*B7)+(C5*C7)+(D5+D7)+E5+D7)) =3%*((B5*B8)+(B5*C8)+(B5*D8)+B5*E8)) If you erred in typing the second formula and it should really be: =3%*((B5*B8)+(C5*C8)+(D5*D8)+E5*E8)) then, make this formula look like this =3%*((B$5*B8)+(C$5*C8)+(D$5*D8)+E$5*E8)) and copy it down "ShoDan" wrote: I can manualy do it.
