SLN & Annual rate of Depreciation
I have a problem trying to set up a worksheet using SLN function to show a
straight-line depreciation and a formula to determine the annual rate of depreciation. Cost=$96,345; Salvage=$25,000; Life= 6 yrs; Annual Rate of Depreciation = SLN/Cost. Create a data table showing straight-line depression and annual rate of depreciation (forklift) for salvage from $20,000 to $29,000 in $500 increments. Help. Much Thanks |
SLN & Annual rate of Depreciation
To create the data table you need to start with your first data so in A2 put
the cost, A3 the Salvage & A4 the years. Cell D1 = SLN(A2,A3,A4). cells C2 to C21 put 20000 to 29500 in 500 increments. Select cells C1:D21. Select Data Table from the Data Menu and for the column input put A3. This is all the SLN values. for the % put in E2=D2/$A$2 and fill this to E21 Hope this is of help -- John MOS Master Instructor Please reply & rate any replies you get Ice Hockey rules (especially the Wightlink Raiders) "CAnn" wrote: I have a problem trying to set up a worksheet using SLN function to show a straight-line depreciation and a formula to determine the annual rate of depreciation.
