Working with templates on different computers
I have changed computers and I brought my invoices and purchase orders to my
new computer. When I open them I can't get the pur order or invoice tool bars to show up. Any Suggestion? Thank you |
Those were probably created especially for you? Tool bars are files with the .XLB extension. They are probably associated with macros and VBA which, if they have been converted to add-ins, have a .XLA extension. You'll need to add those files to your new computer. Easiest way: check your old machine for the location of those file, copy them to the same location on your new drive. You'll also need to use the menu options to attach those to local install of Excel on your new PC. -- nbrcrunch |
Sounds like you have some custom toolbars. Hopefully, you still have access
to your old computer. Do a search on *.xlb to find any toolbars on your old system. Copy them. Do a search on *.xlb on your new computer, note the folder where they are located and copy the custom toolbars to that folder. Hope this helped. Gary Brown "Don" wrote in message ...
