Basic bar graphs using rept function - Printing problems
Hi - I have long used this really usual function for ages and on the
whole it works really well. However, I now find that when I come to print the sheet the bars which are the result of the rept function are now way longer than what is on screen! I've tried ensuring the font is Arial, courier etc changed size of the font but I can't get what is printed or shown in print preview is the same as what's on screen. Any ideas? Thanks Andrew |

=" "&REPT("|",D55)
The " " has no effect on any thing... just spacing. Have tried changing font, size and type. Looks fine on screen and then different (much longer) in either page prev/printed. Have also tried changing the character to repeat, "X" "|" etc Thanks Andrew |

what is the number in D55?
Is it producing the correct number of characters? It also may be a problem with the postscript controls for your printer "Andreww" wrote: =" "&REPT("|",D55) The " " has no effect on any thing... just spacing. Have tried changing font, size and type. D55 is a % - on screen it looks fine, just in print prev and when
printed it increases in length. I take your point about the printer ps control. Will try it on home PC. Thanks Andrew |
