Next month I'll be hosting a quiz. In order to keep the ranking I would like
to use excell, but without the "sort" function because last time it went all
wrong (forgot a column). Can anybody help me ?

This is an example

Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 ... round 10 (sub)TOTAL
Team 1 6 7 4 ... 6
Team 2 7 4 7 ... 8
.....
Team 15

the idea is that AFTER EACH ROUND the rankings are displayed automaticcaly.

Can there be ties as the rounds progress?

yes, there can be ties. Most likely there will be.
