ALEX

Conditional Formatting

I am trying to create a conditional format which will highlight the specific
cell red when it brings up an error.

If column O is filled in without column M having the text "offer" in it, I
want it to turn red. I want this if an option has been chosen in column O,
not if column O is blank.

Any ideas?

Click on Format, Conditional Format, select Formula is and enter the following:
=AND($O2<"",$M2<"Offer"), select Format, Patterns and Red, OK out.

Obviously change row numbers to suit

Thanks Kassie, I should of mentioned I had three seperare conditions in
column M which begun with "offer", but I was able to use your help with the
=and, I came up with this.

=AND($O10<"",(LEFT(M10,5)<"Offer"))
