Workbook sharing
I shared a workbook and put it on a shared drive for colleagues to change.
However when they open the document it is 'read only' and requires them to save the changes under a different name....? |

Do you have the file open at the same time as your co-workers? This could
cause read-write conflicts. Excel isn't really designed for real time collaboration. Dave -- Brevity is the soul of wit. Nope... I just closed the file and asked a colleague to open and it doesn't
change anything. I saved it again clicking 'tools' in the save as window and checked all the properties of the file. 'Read only' is definitely unchecked. I don't understand.
