i opened my workbook and for some reason all of my "general" cells are now

it happen?

Not sure why it happend maybe some workbork you were or somebody else was
using.

Try this:

1. From the format menu select style
2. Select normal from the drop down style name
3. Select the number tab

and change as required

ie number to general and what ever else.

click ok ok and it should work.

maybe select all cells in the worksheets and click delete this should clear
them back.

Hope this helps
