calculating cells hangs when filtering ranges in a sheet
Hi, using Excel 2K3 herre. Is there any way that i stop the "calculating
cells" from happening every time i filter a sheet that a formula is referencing ranges on? It's getting stuck for long periods of time. Thank you, Mike |

You could go to Tools | Options | Calculation (tab) and set the
calculation mode to Manual - this will speed everything up. If you need to recalculate (eg totals/subtotals after filtering) then press F9. It is a good idea to set it back to Automatic before saving the file. Hope this helps. Pete WiFiMike2006 wrote: Hi, using Excel 2K3 herre.
