INDIRECT function
Hello!
I'm using the formula below with range names for data validation because of the argument limitation. My range names all begin with "VF". The problem I'm having is when my list data is the same in two columns as it is for Prod type and Prob type (both are "none"). Whenever I select the combination (Facilities, access, none), I expect my selection list to be "not required". But instead, I get "none". Any suggestions? Thank you. Paul =INDIRECT("VF"&MATCH(E7,producttype,0)) Cat Sub-Cat Prod Prob type type Enquiry complaint none none Enquiry hang-up none none Facilities access none not required Facilities closure none not required IMA add none none |
