difference in 2000 and 2003

I'm trying to learn Excel from a book that is for 2000. I'm using Office
2003, so some things are different. Is there a chart somewhere that compares
functions? I'm trying to find the edit formula button. It is not beside the
formula bar. When I click on the fx instead, I get a box. I'm trying to just
copy info from one cell to another...

I have that same problem. In 2000 the button is an = sign. This function
works great. In XP Professional Office they have changed that = sign to the
function symbol. Where can we get the = function back? Please help

The Edit Formula button(= sign) went away with version 2002.

FX Wizard is its replacement, sad to say.

For other changes see John Walkenbach's site for 2002 and 2003 reviews.
