Set the time and date for editing a cell

I want to be able to set the time and date when editing a cell automatically.
For example I have a list that I have to update periodically and instead of
typing in when I updated the cell, I want to involve another cell that tells
when the cell was last edited and updated with text or numbers.
Is this possible without using VB?

Don't think so ...

Try JE McGimpsey's coverage of "Time and date stamps" at his page:
http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/timestamp.html

Here's a sample file from my archives
(with JE's sub implemented):

CLR

Set the time and date for editing a cell

Not to my knowledge.........

Could be done relatively easy with VBA tho......just need to identify which
cells would be involved......and the feature could even be toggled off and
on if you wish.........
