How to reference MSNStockQuote button within a macro
I am using the MSNStockQuote Excel add-in to update a stock portfolio. Once
the add-in is installed, it can be triggered by clicking an 'Update' button on the Excel toolbar to retrieve the current price, volume, change, etc and make the updates to the spreadsheet. I am also using a macro to update the end-of-day balances to another sheet for archiving and reporting purposes. What I want to do is add the 'Update' functionality of the MSNStockQuote button to my macro so that I can run my updates and archiving in one step. Is there a way to reference this button within my macro? thanks for your help, Tim By the way, if you want to download the free MSNStockQuote add-in, it is available he http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en |

will this supposed to work on 2007? I tried and it failed... maybe I should
try again. I had it on my XP version and it was great... got a new Alienware and lost it in the migration. -- Alien "Tim" wrote: Could anyone give me a headstart on how I could do this? thanks, Tim "tfrentz" wrote: I am using the MSNStockQuote Excel add-in to update a stock portfolio.
