I can't get all of the items in a column to show up in the filter list. How
can I fix this or what am I doing wrong? |

Autofilter has can show up to 1000 items, you can still use custom filtering

That is the problem it is only like 10 items and only a few are showing up. I
need to filter by numbers in the rows. Then it sounds like you have an embedded blank row in your list, so Excel
thinks the list ends at that blank row. Take off the filter, select all the data and reset the filter.
