Updating
 

I have 2 questions
1) is there a way to set excel to prompt you to update when you open a file
like it used to do in 2003. I set it to automatic update but it doesn't
endless you prompt it to.
2) As in 2003- Does a file need to be closed when you ask it to be update
for vlookup. As you prompt it to update it says " file is open" I have to
close the file it is pulling from inorder to update. IS this true.
