Default Auto-filter won't filter

I highlighted cell K35 to filter the PO #'s in column K where PO's are listed
randomly down the column starting in row 35 and there are spaces between PO
#'s as you go down the column. I filtered "non-blanks" to bring all of the
PO's together but no filtering occurred.

thoughts?

Perhaps the blanks aren't blank. They could be zero or have a formula which
equates to zero. Go to Tools-Options-View and under Window options select
"Zero values". This will show zero values in the sheet.

Sorry Jane. I can't think of anything else. Hopefully someone else can.

Hi Jane

Rather than just highlighting K35, highlight the whole range containing your
data before applying Autofilter.

I thought of that, but your original message said you had filtered
"non-blanks" which normally doesn't appear unless there are blanks and
non-blanks in the filtered selection.

Anyway, glad you found the solution and sorry I wasn't much help.

Jane

Perhaps the "blanks" are not really blank?

In an empty column enter =ISBLANK(K35) then drag/copy down.

Real blanks will return TRUE.
