is it possible to create a calculated field in a pivot table that divides a
field value by the grand total of the table?
the field is called "Amount" and i want to find the % variance between the
amount for each and the grand total. TIA.

pivot table calculated field

Hi
Go to Pivot table tool bar - select "Formulas - calculated field". On
selection, Field 1 will be listed - select Field 1 and select Amount in the
formula field. Then select Field settings for Field 1 as % of column.

Thanks
