conditional format
I'm having an issue getting my condtional format to read negative numbers.
The format is if the reference cell is less then 100 fill the box red. The reference cell is a lookup value. The conditional format works for everything including zero but once you hit -1 it goes back to green (a different conditional format for 100) |

What are your CF conditions, and in what order?

That looks fine, what is the formula in J12.

conditional format
=Wafer_Count!H6 where Wafer_Count is a different tab in the WB
H6 on that tab is: ='\\f17epdr1\Area_Reports\C4\MRC_Status\[MRC_Status.xls]Wafer_Count'!H6 If i actually type in a negative number it recongizes that it is less then 100 but the lookup value gives it a hard time. Try this formula in the CF
=--J12<100 -- --- HTH Bob (change the xxxx to gmail if mailing direct) "Conditional Formats" wrote in message ... =Wafer_Count!H6 where Wafer_Count is a different tab in the WB H6 on that tab is: ='\\f17epdr1\Area_Reports\C4\MRC_Status\[MRC_Status.xls]Wafer_Count'!H6 If i actually type in a negative number it recongizes that it is less then 100 but the lookup value gives it a hard time.
