Status Bar Shows "CALCULATE"
 

Heard enough of all possible reasons why status bar shows
"CALCULATE".

Without closing and relaunching Excel, is there a way to get rid of the
"CALCULATE" word.

Sounds like the calculation mode is in manual! Press F9 to calculate
now and stay in manual mode. Or go through Tools Options
Calculation (tab) and select the automatic option.

Oops... should have been more elaborative.

My file being typically 11 MB, I probably have hit the 65535 dependency
limit.
